Four Reasons Why You Should NEVER Use Animations In Your eBay

Inexperienced auction sellers, or those lacking in confidence, often want to make their auction listings more dramatic and exciting. They dread the possibility that buyers will be bored by their auction and turn away with indifference.
Therefore, they reason, they will spice up their auctions with some "animations" - graphics that blink, change colors, spin, and travel around the web page.
Or the seller may be a tech person who loves toys and is proud of his ability to create unusual effects.
Regardless of their reasons, animated elements on an auction page are almost never a good idea for the following four reasons:
1. Rather than attracting attention to the merchandise in your auction, your potential customer may watch a spinning ball or follow Santa and his reindeer through the sky. We want the customer's total attention on that all-important question: "Do I want to buy this widget or not?" Distractions are not good for your wallet.
2. Animations can make the load time of your auction listing much longer. I have been using DSL four years and have forgotten (happily!) how horrible it is to use dialup. However, for many places on this planet, high-speed connections simply are not available. For these folks, loading your page might take forever, and you can be sure they won't wait. Experts tell us that the average user spends only 7 seconds at a webpage before departing for greener pastures. If your sales page is still loading, no sale for you.
3. It takes time for you to figure out how and whether to use animations. This is time that would be better spent on writing more exciting and dynamic copy - copy that will turn a prospective customer into a real buyer. A smart business person will treat time as her most precious commodity and spend it on what is most likely to bring a sale.
4. Many of these animations are just downright annoying. I personally do not enjoy looking at screens that are twirling, whirling and blinking. Two particularly irritating animations are an inescapable message that follows up and down the left side of the page, regardless of where I'm looking, and "trails" that follow my mouse.
A huge majority of people feel the same, apparently. Sellers need to make it as easy as possible for people to buy, rather than throwing obstacles in the way.
Are there any occasions when animated pictures are of any value in an auction listing? Possibly. For example, if you are selling to graphic designers then animated elements might be appropriate. As always, testing, testing, testing is the only way to truly know.
But for the rest of us folks - forget the glitter and focus on your merchandise. That's what makes us buy.

Organizing Your Home Office

When organizing your office, you’ve got a couple choices. Write a list of all the little things that need to be done and work on them a few minutes each day, or dive straight into the deep end and do it all in one fell swoop.
If you’re sick of your entire office, box it all up like you’re moving, and set the boxes in a different room. Then unpack one box at a time and organize from the bottom –up. Make sure to file papers as you go along.
I like the “little at a time” approach. My first step would be to take all the papers that are scattered about and put them into one box. You can file these now, or clean your desktop and surrounding area further. I like putting all the filing together, all the books together, and then working on one pile at a time.
If several folks in your home are receiving mail, you can use wall-mounted acrylic holders and just label them with each person’s name. That takes care of the mail lying around.
A friend of mine keeps all her bills on her refrigerator with a magnet. As soon as they come in, they go straight on the fridge. That way, they can’t get lost underneath piles of papers. I’ve adopted this idea and it’s saved me a huge headache. Now I don’t have a bunch of envelopes and bills lying around on my desktop, just waiting for payday.
Decide what your office needs and designate a spot for each item. If you make calls from this area, you’ll need a phone, phone book, message pad and pens.
You’ll need a place for the computer and accessories, plus a spot for copy paper.
Set up the basics first, and then decide item-by-item what else you want to place in your office. Do you have room for personal items? Pictures can be placed on a bulletin board or hung on the wall. You ability to focus and accomplish is affected by a messy desktop, so make it a priority to keep it decluttered.
Once you’ve set up the office and filed your paperwork, you can buy some colored folders or stickers and color-code your files to make it easier to find what you’re looking for.
If you take just 15 minutes every other day to clean off your desk and surrounding work area, you’ll find your home office a much more pleasant place to work! And your personal efficiency will skyrocket as well!

Starting an Online Business

This One is Easy and Builds Wealth Quickly

If you are thinking of starting an online business, the one enclosed is a low cost business which requires no selling and is a great online business, anyone can use to build wealth quickly.

What is the business?

It's becoming a currency trader from home - HANG ON! You may say I couldn't do that - well the answer is you can, anyone can.

The opportunity to trade online and use small stakes to make money quickly is open to all. Here are the advantages of this business and there are a lot of them!

- You can start with a few hundred dollars

- Got a computer and an internet connection? That's all you need

- You don't need staff, stock or premises

- You don't need to sell or find clients

- You can learn this business in a few weeks

- Trading takes 30 minutes to an hour a day

- There is never a recession and profit opportunities occur every day

- You can leverage your stake invest $500.00 and trade $100,000

The advantages of this business are huge.

If you are starting an online business, this one offers more potential, for less work and on a lower capital stake, than almost any other.

The Power of Leverage

The reason this business offers such huge profit potential is that it allows you to leverage your money.

Leverage simply means you can invest more than you have so put down $500.00 and your broker will allow you to leverage 200:1 and trade $100,000 - no credit checks needed, this money is granted to you as soon as you open an account.

Of course where there are big gains to be made, there are big risks too and the challenge is to seek big gains and control risk which you can do.

This business offers you the opportunity to build a lucrative second income or even a life changing one if you get the right education and have the right mindset.

How to Win

So how do you make money in this business?

Let me ask you a question:

Can you spot recurring patterns on a graph?

Of course you can, if you know what to look for and have some practice. The best way to make money therefore is - to use forex charts and simply follow trends up or down and lock into them for profit.

Charting is a learned skill. Anyone can learn it and this is the easy part of currency trading, the harder part is being disciplined.

The Key to Big Gains

In currency trading you must cheerfully take small losses and run your profits when you get them.

You will take a lot of losses but if you run the big trends with leverage you can make a lot of money over time. So discipline is the key to making leverage work for you and if you can be disciplined you can win.

The Challenge and the Rewards

Being a currency trader from home is one of the most exciting and lucrative business opportunities you can be involved in and is a challenge, it's an exciting one and if you consider starting an online business in currency trading you have a life changing opportunity.

There is no other business like it in terms of profit potential to effort and if you have a desire to succeed and to learn it you will be well rewarded for your efforts

What's the Best Home Based Business for You?

Have you ever wanted to start a homebased business, and need to decide what's the best home based business for you?

You're not alone!

Many, many people have wished for their own work at home business. But of course the "dreaming" is easy. Choosing exactly which and what kind of business to start is quite different.

But it's not really that hard. It's much easier when you can examine the many choices by examining the advantages and disadvantages of each.

If you haven't decided yet here are a few factors to consider that might make your task a little easier.

1. Startup Costs

One of the disadvantages of many home based business opportunities is the initial expense.

No doubt you've seen lots of "business opportunities" that claim to get you started for "free."

Don't believe it for a minute! There are always costs involved.

Look for a possible home business with low initial expenses. But veer away from those opportunities where initial costs seem unrealistic.

Examine these offers carefully.

2. Time to Become Profitable

A new home business isn't like to be profitable immediately. In fact just recovering your initial investment can sometimes take months.

Of course the time needed to recoup your investment will also depend on just how great that initial investment was.

But in any event you'll usually do better to choose a business that will begin turning a profit sooner rather than later.

3. Ability to Start While Maintaining Your Current Job

The problem with a lot of business start-ups is they put you in an untenable situation money wise.

No matter how quickly a new business becomes profitable, there's still a period of time when there'll be no profits coming in.

If you're depending on your job to pay the bills, you can't quit your job until your business lets you earn enough money to pay your living expenses. But at the same time your job doesn't allow you the free time necessary to start your business!

The best home based business option then is to find a business you can start and operate part time while continuing your job, until your business becomes successful enough to quit and devote full time to your business.

4. Operating Costs and Profit Margins

Not only will you need startup capital, you'll also need money to operate the business.

Do a careful analysis of what it will cost you to operate the business of your choice. Choose one that will allow you a comfortable profit margin AFTER operating expenses.

5. Demand for the Product or Service

Regardless of any other advantages a business may offer, you'll never enjoy success if there's little or no demand for the product or service you're selling.

Make sure there's a sizable market for your product or service.

6. Continuing Demand and Economic Conditions

Our economy is always changing. Businesses sometimes fail because of changes in the economic "climate."

You could be making good profits one day, and the next day be watching demand for your product "dry up."

It's best to select a business that's not prone to fluctuations in the economy.

7. Learning Curve

Depending on your choice, it could take a long time to acquire the knowledge needed to conduct your business.

Look for a business with a short "learning curve" or for one that you already know something about.

8. Income Potential

Every business "opportunity" promises you high earnings potential. But sometimes those promises just aren't realistic.

Always remember the old adage "If it sounds too good to be true ... it probably is!"

Try to evaluate every opportunity dispassionately and choose a business that offers high but REALISTIC earnings potential.

9. Time Freedom

Starting new home business can place a great deal of demands on your time. Lots of entrepreneurs work 10 - 12 hours a day at least, as well as weekends and holidays, getting their business up and running.

Realistically assess the time demands whatever business you choose, and make certain you'll have enough time to devote to running it.

10. Satisfaction

"Satisfaction" is a personal matter, and one you should carefully consider.

Whatever business you pick, you're more likely to be successful if you take personal satisfaction in what you're doing, to feel that what you're doing is worthwhile, something you can feel good about and be proud of.

In conclusion, you should start your search by listing of all the potential choices that appeal to you.

Then look at each one subjectively based on the factors mentioned above. The best home based business for you is already out there ... you just have to find it!

Good luck in your search!

Is Your Home-Base Biz Affiliate Friendly?

By Eddie Watkins

What do I mean when I ask is your Home-base Biz affiliate friendly? We all know that in order to have a successful on line biz, you must have a downline. You need to have employees, or in other words affiliates. You need to have affiliates dedicated to helping themselves, all the while they are helping you.

You have probably joined programs, as I have, that promised great things. Programs that promise Financial Freedom. Work at home in your pajamas. Make enough Money in 3 days, to fly around the world forever. Such programs may have great products with a great sales page, with some great benefits. But they don't provide you with any training.

After you purchase the package, that's where the promises and the program ends.

For your home-base biz to succeed, your affiliates need to be trained in all aspects of the business opportunity they are promoting. They need to know what the benefits are, for the person who purchases their products. Affiliates need to know, and feel that their products are superior to the next guys products. And most of all, your affiliates must know how to market their product. To me, knowing how to market your product, is the most important thing of all.

You can have a hundred million affiliates, but if they don't have the training necessary to succeed. They are completely useless to you or your home-base business.

It is your job (The Sponsor) to make sure that your affiliates are provided with all the tools and training, that's necessary for them to become successful. Their success means your success. This means we all need to help one another.

Here is a little (tip) that has been tested by me over and over again, and it has always worked in my life.

Have you ever had a difficulty or problem going on in your life, that's really been a thorn in your side. It's been messing up your head for a couple of days , and you just can't come up with a real solution. (Try This)

Forget about your situation or problem, and go help someone else. Your help may come in the manner of just listening to another person's problems. Or it may consist of helping your neighbor with his yard work. It doesn't matter what it is, just help someone else.

What I have found, when I help someone else. Is the solutions to my problems, will
mysteriously appear. And in most cases, the problem disappears all together. There is great power in getting off of my little pity potty and helping another person.

In my opinion (and it's greatly debatable) one of the main reasons we were put on earth was to help one another.

Here is great secrets that was revealed to me. If you want your luck to change. Do a good deed for someone else. You must not let that person, or anyone else know about your good deed. When the deed is done, sit back and watch the great rewards that you will reap. What happens is amazing.

The bottom line is that if you have a home-base biz. You need to train your affiliates. You need to build relationships these individuals. They need to be able to contact you via email or telephone. You need to take them by the hand and walk with them, until they can walk on their own.

And always remember. Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish, he eats for a lifetime.

For any business to be successful.
It must provide all the tools and
training, for it's affiliates
